Truck and Trailer Guide
Fuel economy and reduced emissions are goals worth meeting. For customers running auxiliary power packs, the on demand load-sense system built by Elliott Machine Works Inc. will work in tandem to meet today's energy recommendations.
Elliott's hydraulic driven pumping system has an auto shut-down feature that allows the Enpak or Vanair All-In-One to start up and run when the control nozzle of an oil system is opened. Once the nozzle is closed, the system will shut down automatically, providing better fuel economy. This means the engine will only run during the oil pumping process, and not during the time it takes to change the filter, drain the old oil, climb on top of the machine, etc.
Elliott Machine Works Inc. also has designed two carriers for these auxiliary power packs to solve mounting and space problems. Both are designed to bolt on to the truck frame rail and one is equipped with a slide out for accessibility and maintenance if mounted below a platform or van body deck.
Elliott Machine Works Inc. has been manufacturing mobile service equipment in Galion, Ohio, since 1948.
