Thompson Truck
Thompson Truck Centers LLC, a division of Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation based in LaVergne, Tenn., has been named a distributor of Load King trailers. Allan Wainscott, general truck sales manager of Thompson, said the addition of the Load King line enhances its offerings to the vocational truck market.
"Load King offers many choices and configurations for our forestry, construction and agricultural customers, as well as the vendors who haul for Thompson. This addition to our product line offering also allows us to enhance our own fleet."
Load King, a division of Utility One Source, is located in Elk Point, S.D., and recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. The company designs and manufactures a broad line of trailers for the heavy equipment industry, and is known for dependable, durable equipment trailers and bottom dumpers in standard and customized formats. Load King trailers include rigid, folding and detachable goosenecks and hydraulic folding tail and tag trailers with apitong decking for long-haul durability.
The range of Load King configurations includes end dump and bottom dump trailers, mining trailers, paving trailers and more. Among the products featured at Thompson Truck Centers are the Signature Series 55-ton (49.9 t) hydraulic detach, the Rock Hauler Series and the 2060 Series of bottom dump trailers.
Wainscott, who reports that Thompson is already quoting Load King models to numerous customers, said, "Load King is a large, well-known company, which has been producing top-quality trailer products for more than 50 years. Like Thompson, they are committed to serving their customers, and they design and build trailers to fit a wide variety of specific needs. We're excited to offer Load King to our customers, and look forward to providing added value to our customers."
