Truck and Trailer Guide
Kaufman Trailers Inc. is expanding its facilities and opening a new manufacturing plant in Beaver City, NE.
This facility is scheduled to open in January 2006 and will play a large roll in Kaufman Trailers Inc. becoming a national player in the flat bed trailer market.
The new Nebraska manufacturing facility represents an expansion of the North Carolina company, which currently manufactures and sells trailers primarily to consumers east of the Mississippi River.
The goal for the Beaver City facility is to manufacture and market flatbed trailers to commercial and agricultural users throughout central plains and western states, including Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. Eventually, the company plans to market trailers to consumers as far away as the Pacific northwest and southern California.
Kaufman Trailers was established in 1987. Since then it has become a key manufacturer of utility, equipment and auto transport trailers, manufacturing 47 different models with 200 variations designed to meet the specific needs of its users. As the manufacturer, Kaufman Trailers is able to offer custom lengths and options to their customers in order to ensure the trailer meets the customers’ own personal needs.
