The newly appointed America's Road Team Captains will use the VNL 760 to haul the ATA Interstate One mobile classroom for their nationwide education program. Pan-United to Power Concrete Mixer Trucks With Electricity, Hydrogen Fuel Cells →

Concrete and cement provider Pan-United Corporation is studying the feasibility of using electric and hydrogen fuel cells to power a fleet of more than 1,000 trucks. The company announced on Jan. 5 a partnership between its subsidiary Pan-United Concrete and consultancy Surbana Jurong to study the possibilities of decarbonizing Pan-United's diesel-powered trucking fleet. NTEA, in collaboration with e-learning platform Electude, announced a new DC and AC Voltage online course as part of its Truck Equipment (TE) Electrical Basics series. "Helping companies develop and educate their workforce is a large part of why the Association exists," said David Ehrlich, NTEA director of education. "The DC and AC Voltage course, which focuses on the characteristics and sources of alternating and direct current, further expands our education and training lineup, and addresses some of the more common needs due to the increased use of electrified systems in vehicles." Niece Equipment Hosts Groundbreaking for New Facility →

Despite continuing supply side challenges, Niece Equipment plans to double the size of its fleet of water trucks over the next three years, while adding a major rental and sales facility in the DFW market. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 29 at the site of Niece's planned new branch office on busy Loop 820 on the north side of Fort Worth. "The whole state of Texas is hot," Company President Al Niece said, "but I've always wanted to be in DFW just because of the volume of business there."
